Frank Egle
Co-Founder & CEO
Frank is a graduate engineer in electrical engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Ulm, specializing in technical computer science.
Our CEO has 2 decades of industry experience in R&D and series development at Daimler and Audi, giving him a deep understanding of modern technologies – especially home automation and home cinema, two of Frank‘s passions.
Marcel Egle
Co-Founder & CTO
With over five years of experience in software development, Marcel is an expert in real-time 3D, virtual and augmented reality, computer vision, and embedded systems.
Marcel began his tech career in 2019 as a freelancer, where he gained a lot of experience in game development and visualization for VR applications. In 2020, Marcel joined IDEENION as software developer and later as Head of Software Development.
Maike Voigt
Co-Founder & COO
Maike holds a diploma in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Stralsund, Germany. Her academic background laid the groundwork for her robust expertise in product management, marketing and sales, and accounting and controlling.
In her role as COO, Maike brings a wealth of experience, underpinned by an extensive career in the automotive software industry with companies such as Audi and Elektrobit.

UNWARE was able to secure funding for the development of the UNWARE tracking software through Bayern Innovativ's BayTOU program. BayStartUP
Bayern Innovativ, a corporation of the Free State of Bavaria, supports startups and players from industry and science at all stages of the value chain with customized services to increase their innovation dynamics.
In May 2024, UNWARE took second place in BayStartUP's Munich business plan competition. BayStartUP is the Bavarian startup network for startups, investors and industry and, with its annual business plan competition, offers young startups support in setting up their company and in finding start-up and growth capital.

As of January 2025, we are still self-financed and looking for business angels to support us in our first round of financing to further develop the company.
